Mark K. Vasquez is an attorney, partner, and co-head of the US practice for DeForest, a firm with offices in Dallas, New York, San Antonio, New York, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Puebla, Queretaro, and Leon. Mr. Vasquez for over the last 20 years has concentrated his practice on corporate, cross-border transactions, finance, real estate, and tax law. Mr. Vasquez has a broad-based business- transactional practice focusing on complex corporate and tax matters, with an emphasis on cross-border transactions, tax treaty planning, international tax and US investment structures involving a wide range of companies doing business in the U.S., Mexico, and Latin America. Mr. Vasquez also assists foreign companies establishing a business presence in the United States and U.S. companies in the expansion of international operations. Additionally, Mr. Vasquez represents Latin American investors, foreign families, and private funds investing in U.S. real estate projects.

Mr. Vasquez is admitted to the State Bar of Texas, the United States Court of International Trade and the United States Tax Court. Also, Mr. Vasquez is a Texas licensed real estate broker and Texas licensed escrow officer.
