Michael Stanley Farley is a Clinton, Tennessee attorney founded in 1996. A co-founder of Fox, Farley, Willis & Burnette, he focuses his practice on criminal defense, representing individuals facing charges across East Tennessee. Farley is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and brings prior law enforcement experience to his work; before law school he served as an investigator and certified police officer, graduating first in his class at the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy, and later worked as a Sheriff’s Deputy for the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department and as an officer with the Clinton Police Department.
He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Many clients are referred by past clients and other attorneys.
Farley remains active in the community, having served as a Clinton City Councilman, a Chamber of Commerce board member, a member of the Clinton Rotary Club, and Vice President of the Anderson County Fair Association for 15 years. He and colleagues have provided significant support to local schools and athletics.
