Child custody / child support

Grandparents
My name is Tiffany Fede. I am the sole managing conservator of my son, Fox. His grandparents (my parents) have recently filed claims that I believe are baseless and intrusive. They have no custodial rights and I want to move quickly to have their actions dismissed and to file a countersuit if appropriate.
Background:
• I have full conservatorship and legal decision-making authority for my son.
• My parents occasionally provided childcare when I allowed it, primarily to support me while I worked or attended appointments. This was voluntary and by my choice — not court-ordered or legally binding.
• They are now misrepresenting this support to claim they have rights to decision-making or custody.
• This summer, Fox was with them for one month, but the rest of the time he is in my full care.
What I Want:
1. Immediate action to dismiss or have their petition thrown out since they have no standing.
2. A countersuit to:
• Prevent them from interfering with my parental rights going forward.
• Seek damages or legal remedy for emotional distress and disruption they have caused.
• Establish stronger legal protections so they cannot attempt this again.
3. Guidance on whether my recent consideration of relocating (North Carolina or Washington State) should be done now or after court matters are resolved.
Urgency:
I want to move quickly. Their interference has already impacted my son’s care and routine, and I need to reinforce boundaries with providers, schools, and others before this escalates further.
Please let me know if you are available to take this case and what the next steps would be.
